The chapter apply to the way how to become the part of the crew and wear the uniform of the company. There are two ways how to become a flight attendant but finally no matter which way you go you must enter INITIAL COURSE. It is an intensive course for getting all required knowledge to provide such a job. As the safety is considered to be the most important part, INITIAL COURSE is on only way how to fulfil claims.

Let us to describe the first way. There might be competition set by the airline operator. It means there is need of new crew. If you succeed and get through all parts of competition your other step is going to INITIAL COURSE. The second way is to achieve the FA licence without competition, simply by contacting LET´S FLY and get in the same INITIAL course as people from competition. The first way seems to be easier but you must check the airliner´s offers. The second way gives you an advantage same as giving advantage to airliner looking for new crew staff because of saving time and money and you are the holder of licence already. And also you can apply for job in several airliners at once. One of the very important conditions is health state. Even apparently small health trouble might cause a big problem. We are talking about condition required by ÚLZ (Ústav leteckého zdravotnictví ) in Prague. As the entering check-up is paid service, we recommend talking over any obscurity and making an appointment with some G.P. (e.g. MUDr. Leopold Sedláček, tel.: 554611754).Ac­cording the check- up ÚLZ gives you date also for the whole group before initiating the IN. COURSE. For ÚLZ you need the excerpt from your G.P., excerpt from gynaecologist (female). Check-up starts at 7am fasting and you follow instructions given by receiving office.( blood test, surgery, internal medicine, neurology, eye, dNU…..and final psycho-tests). ÚLZ confirmation is conclusion of check-ups. In case of bad success do not give up! It doesn´t mean it´s irresolvable problem. Do not hesitate to contact your doctor and discuss the way of possible treatment. You have to go for check-up then every second year.

For initiating of any kind of course there is a need to fulfil conditions. It applies to every trainee. English is necessary condition too. B1-B2 is required.

English, together with lessons of medical care and service are three most important subjects to go through the INITIAL COURSE. INITIAL COURSE means six weeks training and finally you have to pass written and the oral test. If you successfully pass ÚCL draw document- your FA LICENCE.
